About Me

I have worked in design and moving image since 1995. My motion design comes from a base in fine-art, via graphic design, live-action film-making and an all-round love for concept, experimentation and story-telling.

I studied fine-art at Central St. Martins School of Art in London, after which I worked for various London design agencies. Later I became a music video director, working with Foals, Lemar, Blood Red Shoes, Stefanie Heinzmann, Jamiroquai and many others. Since 2008 I’ve lived in Berlin.

I’m a native english speaker, and speak fluent german.
 
 

What I Do

I work on many kinds of moving image projects, conceiving and creating everything from film and TV through pitches and image films, to social media and digital-out-of-home. While motion-design forms the center of my visual world, I’m always happy to draw on my experience of visual effects, editing and live-shooting to extend my motion toolbox and enable my hands-on approach.
